Inspiring others to help boost peace everywhere whatever their country, race, religion, gender…
Peace is the common ground we can build a sustainable world on.
To illustrate how we interpret peace and faith, Pedro wrote this letter:
“As you will notice, we have been very open to people of different backgrounds. We have friends that are Bahai, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Muslim, Spiritist… even agnostics.
I was born a Christian. But later in life I somehow lost my faith. It was not strong. Until some years ago, when as a result of continued and increasing stress I had what was called a brain crash. My brain just could not cope anymore. All of a sudden, I had like a dream in which the world was presented as a world of man-made problems that could be solved, but were not for the lack of peace. It was a dream presented by someone extremely angry at what happened. It also showed ways to solve the problems. After the dream, my brain sort of switched to a low gear and blocked a large part of my memory (temporarily – some parts for a couple of years). It gradually recovered giving access to new parts of my memory. I started thinking a lot about my life and why it went wrong.
My life was fine. But it went wrong because of the way our society is organized and because of human values not being respected (or not enough). I was hurt by people that did not have the right values.
I have thought about faith too and I have recovered it quite strongly. It is not linked really to any religion. It is something innate. You can find it in all religions (meaning well). It is often obscured though by religions themselves. Faith is something that has existed before any religions had been created.
I talked about my experiences with my girlfriend Stella and we came up with the idea of making this world recover human values in all aspects of life. I have a lot of inspirations that I have put in letters and messages sent to contacts and friends. We hope they will make them think about their lives and their relationship with others and with Nature.”
We define faith as the belief in the innate goodness in people and the willingness to bring it out. Peace and human values are part of it.
We created Danellandia with many projects to make this world a better place and to bring peace and happiness to all. Peace among people, among socio-economic and political systems and among religions.
We want to make sure that the future of our children (we mean all children) is one they can be proud of and we do it for the smile of a happy child. Of all children in the world of whatever race, culture or religion. We just love children and love to see them happy. Who doesn’t?
Seeing so many innocent children suffer so much because of decisions taken by our leaders, makes us feel sad.
Changing this world for the better will require quite some drastic actions by the adult world. But Danellandia will help inspiring people through its messages and letters.
Please send them on to friends and people you care about and others. As part of our ‘campaign for peace and humanity’.
Many thanks and best regards,
Ambassadors of Nature and Peace
Danellandia was created on 28 March, 2004. It is based on discussions about this world and its many problems with people from different backgrounds, countries, religions and age.
